(Doc ID 3034231.1)
Last updated on JULY 17, 2024
Applies to:
Oracle Financial Services Basel Regulatory Capital Basic - Version 8.0.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
As per OSFI Chp4. par 64 "For unrated exposures to corporate SMEs (defined as corporate exposures where the reported annual sales for the consolidated group of which the corporate counterparty is a part is less than or equal to CAD $75 million for the most recent financial year), an 85% risk weight will be applied."
Referring to the above guidelines the corresponding asset reclass rule for Corp SME's "RLBNK145 - Banking Exposures Party Type Reclassification of SME" where the "CAP Consolidated Total Assets" is considered uses a value of "Less than or equal to 50 Million" rather than having a "Less than or equal to 75 Million" as per the latest OSFI guidelines.
Please review if this needs to be "Less than or equal to 75 Million" and not "Less than or equal to 50 Million" for Corp SME
