Goal

FX spot & tom deals with SGEN generated- Cancellation not allowed in FDXTRPAY but Reversal allowed

When a FX tom/spot deal is booked, system triggers the SGEN evet on booking and Payment messages are generated in SGEN.

While querying the above deal in FXDTRPAY screen, system throws the error message 'Payment messages have already been generated. Cannot cancel/liquidate the contract'. However, the same is allowed for reversal through FXDTRONL.

While Reversing through FXDTRONL screen, system throws an override 'Settlement messages are already generated. Do you want to proceed'.

Clarification needed on why the behavior is different in both cases.
