"Payment Cancellation Adapter not found." Error When Trying To Cancel Payment for Pay Later Transactions (Doc ID 3048597.1)

When attempting to cancel pay later option, the following error occurs.

Payment Cancellation Adapter not found.

Below error is observed in logs:

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login with retail account.
2. Initiate pay later transaction (existing payee/ own account/ ad-hoc payee).
3. After that we did payment cancellation for that pay later transaction.
4. Error coming on screen as "Payment Cancellation Adapter not found".

BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot cancel transactions with pay later option.
