Symptoms

On : 14.3.0.0.0 version, Implementation Support

GEDFMLCG (Facility Main Line Change Maintenance) screen - Unable to save the record for Main line change .

ERROR
-----------------------
EXISTS - An identical record exists. A new record cannot be created.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a line LINE1 with a main line (MLINE1) in GEDFACLT (Facilities Maintenance) screen.
2. Do a main line change in the GEDFMLCG screen for replacing MLINE1 to MLINE2.
3. Do execute the EOD, the mainline change will be processed.
4. After that try to change the main line again in GEDFMLCG screen from MLINE2 to MLINE3.
5. Check if the system allows to process the request successfully.

BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot revert or change back the main line changes made.
