Symptoms

As per RBI regulatory Guidelines para 5.13.1, "Fund based and non-fund based claims on Venture Capital Funds, which are considered as high risk exposures, will attract a higher risk weight of 150 percent."

The bank interpretation that any exposures to VCF counterparty should get 150% RW. (Such as Cash Credit facility to VCF). However, OOTB rule "IND - Basel III Investment Asset Class Reclassification (RLINV504)"
a. Is present only in Investment Exposures sub process.
b. Classify exposures as Venture Capital Asset Class just basis on product as "VCF".
