Symptoms
Inventory stock number can't accept less stock numbers than the current stock number
Although the instrument number was included in the maintenance list of the system. System shows an error as "Start number should be greater than end number of the previous sequence".
Issue root cause -
Now in the branch inventory, the system cannot accept less stock numbers than the current stock number.
According to the Business requirement, it needs to accept any stock number if not already used and haven't other branches. Because this instrument number is already registered in inventory.
For Eg
Ho branch has registered cheque stock no. 000001 to 500000
Ho to branch 001 transfer out 000100 to 001000
HO to branch 002 transfer out 001001 to 001100
In case, 001 branch stock was too much stock for this branch. That's why we will transfer stock to the 002 branch starting no.000800 to 001000.
At that time 002 branch can be accepted for this transfer stock because this instrument number is already registered in inventory and is not used for other branches.
currently, the system can't accept it and the system shows an error as "Start number should be greater than end number of the previous sequence"
