On : 14.6.0.5.0 version, Production Support

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

PIDINSPY--Instrument Number not Validating

While create Payment Instrument (PIDINSPY)system is allowing to Take invalid Instrument Numbers also and it is showing Transaction Saved and authorized. As per System it should throw an error but it was showing successfully processed and authorized. We can see the transactions status as 'A' in PITB_INS_ISSUE and there is no record in PITB_INS_ISSUE_TXN.

There is no Accounting entries triggered.

Changes

 Fix :- Fix provided to validate and skip further processing if the same is invalid instrument number.
