Purpose

The FAST Bank is a global organization with subsidiaries all over the world. It needs to set up Jobs to hire employees into specific job functions that are required to maintain their day to day operations.

Jobs are defined via the Job page/component and use the Business Unit, Setid and Setid Determinate to share these Job definitions between the subsidiaries in Fusion. There is also a Job Family feature to further categorize these Jobs into more logic groupings.

Scope

This document will illustrate how to setup a Job and Job family in Fusion HCM as well as a demonstration of how the Business Unit selection will affect what available jobs can be selected at the time of hire.

For the purpose of this exercise, the FAST Bank will create a set of Jobs that will be shared between all the Subsidiaries except for one which has its own set of Jobs.
