How do Users View Enterprise Scheduler Service (ESS) Job Metadata? (Doc ID 1358281.1)

Last updated on APRIL 12, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Application Toolkit - Version 11.1.1.5.1 to 11.1.9.2.0 [Release 1.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

This document describes four ways to retrieve Enterprise Scheduler Service (ESS) Job Metadata. This information is useful when managing and troubleshooting job definitions, job requests, job sets (a collection of job requests), incompatibilities (job definitions and job sets that cannot run at the same time for a given application) and schedules for an application.

One option is to use Enterprise Manager Fusion Applications Control.  Another troubleshooting method is to log onto Functional Setup Manager (FSM) as a user that has the ASM_IMPLEMENTATION_MANAGER_DUTY role.  Finally, WebLogic Scripting Tool  (WLST) can be used to create a dump.
