Fusion Applications Error Starting Enterprise Manager Database Control Or Using emctl Commands

You have installed your Fusion Apps environment using Oracle Virtual Machines (OVMs) supplied by Oracle.  The first time you try to start Enterprise Manager Database Control for this database, you encounter an error.

You get errors using any emctl commands, such as start or status.

Issue the command:

emctl start dbconsole

Result is:

OC4J Configuration issue. /slot/ems3108/oracle/db/tech_st/11.2.0/oc4j/j2ee/OC4J_DBConsole_<serverName>_fscmb18r not found.

*In this example <serverName> is the name of the server on which you are trying to start the EM dbconsole.

You checked this location and you find a file with the wrong server name like this:
