The client has a requirement to add a Marriage Certificate certification to the Certifications page for a Marriage life event.
1. On 1/1/1960. created the new lookup code of MAR within the BEN_ENRT_CTFN_TYP lookup type.
2. User used 1/1/1960 as the session effective date for the Benefit Plan creation.User can see the Marriage Certificate within the drop down list, but when they attempt to save the record, receive error
The value MAR of the field Certification Type is not in the lookup code BEN_ENRT_CTFN_TYP. Contact your system administrator to review the lookup tables (BEN-990573)
Steps to reproduce
Navigation: Setup and Maintenance > Manage Implementation Projects > Implementation Project > Compensation Management > Define Benefits >
Define General Benefits > Manage Benefits Lookups
click Go to Task and select BEN_ENRT_CTFN_TYP
Create new Lookup code
Lookup code: MAR
Enabled is checked
Start/End Date: 1/1/1960 - EOT
Meaning: Marriage Certificate
save and close
Manage Implementation Projects > Implementation Project > Compensation Management > Define Benefits >
Manage Benefit Programs and Plans > click goto task on Manage Benefit Plans
Search and select the Plan
Click Certification > Life Event Tab > select and Add Enrollment Certification
select Certification Type: marriage certificate
Determination Rule: Certification is required if new dependent is designated
Check the required check box and click OK button
