FUSION PIM: Quick / Keyword search on left hand side does not search item even with complete item name (Doc ID 1415294.1)

Symptoms

While searching the items from quick/Keyword search area on the left hand side with search type = Item, No records are being fetched by the system. For example item WL-35969A is not searchable by any keywords, not even by 'WL-35969A'.
