Unable To Change UOM For Item From A Different UOM Class

Symptoms
In Edit Document (Purchase Orders) screen, the Unit Of Measure (UOM) list of values (LOV) only retrieves UOM's from
the UOM class associated to Primary UOM associated to the Item Definition.
Due to this issue, users cannot select UOM's from different UOM class of the one assigned as Primary UOM for the Item.
Expected Behavior
UOM LOV values should be retrieved from multiple UOM classes.
Steps To Reproduce
1. Navigate to Purchase Order (PO) creation page.
2. Click on UOM LOV and provide class as quantity.
3. No LOV values retrieved.
