Create Accounting Ends In Warning, All Events In Error After Upgrade to New Version (Doc ID 1458755.1)

Symptoms

Create Accounting program is ending with Warning. All events in error:

The subledger accounting method Standard Accrual for accounting definition {PAD_NAME} created by {OWNER} contains an invalid journal entry rule set.
Cause: The journal entry rule set assigned to the subledger accounting method is incomplete or in error.
Action: You must activate the journal entry rule set assignment or update the journal entry rule set assignments in the subledger accounting method.
The subledger accounting method Standard Accrual for accounting definition {PAD_NAME} created by {OWNER} contains an invalid journal entry rule set.
Cause: The journal entry rule set assigned to the subledger accounting method is incomplete or in error.
Action: You must activate the journal entry rule set assignment or update the journal entry rule set assignments in the subledger accounting method.

 

In Payables and Receivables (Invoices, Receipts, Payment), after saving the transaction when you select Actions->Account and Post to Ledger, receive following error "Errors encountered while attempting accounting. (XLA-870235) Accounting failed to complete for 1 events. Details: Submit the Create Accounting batch process and review the report for errors."
