When Fusion computes the element entry per pay period deduciton amount for a benefit and rounding occurs due to the cents going beyond two decimals, Fusion attemtps to capture the value of that rounding, annualizes it and adds that difference to the first payroll. The second and subsequent periods for that element entry have what I would consider the "normal" pay period deduction. For example, if the monthly cost of a benefit is $235.37 and the employee is a biweekly payroll, the per pay amount comes to $108.6323077. The first element entry period would have a value of $108.68 which is $108.63 + (25 * .0023077) and the remaining periods would be $108.63. This causes confusion for the employees and causes payroll deductions that do not match published employee rates. We would like the element entry to just round to the nearest penny using standard rounding rules.
