Goal

You would like to revoke access to analyses and/or folders in the OBIEE catalog (also called the webcat) from specific Fusion Applications users or a set of users.  It would shorten the list of available items so that users would find their items faster and it would keep users from thinking they might have access to data they do not have.

These steps require creation of a role using OIM and APM.  After the role is created it is added to user(s).  Then role is then used to set permissions in OBIEE.  An explanation of OBIEE permissions can be found in the OBIEE on-line help.
