Task Email URL Not Working

When assigning a task to someone, that person receives an email. In the email, the last line contains a message that the person can access the task at the "Workspace Application" - where Workspace Application is a hyperlink.
When clicking on the hyperlink, the internet window that pops up is the Internet Explorer not working page.
