When entering Item data for the first time error message EGP-2775298 and multiples of message EGP-2775815 will appear if background setup of Default Catalogs has not been performed.
On a system without seeded setup; or where there is an unfamiliarity with Product Management item creation, for example system builds where CRM is the major product group, there may be extra background setup required. This document explains this background setup to supplement Notes 1395159.1 and 1488509.1 .
