RUP3: Weblogic.nodemanager.NMException: I/O Error While Reading Domain Directory (Doc ID 1499229.1)

Goal

When running the below command to validate a post RUP3 patch,  getting an I/O error with the node manager on the secondary server.

<APPLTOP>/fusionapps/applications/lcm/ad/bin/fapmgr.sh validate -patchtop /fusiontmp/RUP3/Post_Patch/p14036443/14036443 -online
