NOTE: for Release 8 or later please reveiw Fusion DOO: Implementing and Populating Extensible Flex Fields (EFF) in DOO (Doc ID 2005737.1)
This document describes how to create an Extensible Flexfield (EFF) so that additional information can be shown on a DOO entity. The example shown here will be used to create and show Additional EFF information on DOO Fulfillment Lines. The principles covered can be used to implement EFFs on other entities such as the DOO Header.
The requirement is to show Car Finish information, this will include attributes for Paint Colour and Paint Type. If required this information can be passed into DOO from an Order Capture application and if present will be shown as additional information on the DOO Fulfillment Line
NOTE: Changes will be made as soon as you deploy the EFF. It is very important to complete EFF design work prior to making any changes to EFF setup and any changes should be implemented in a Test and/or sandbox environment prior to applying these to a production instance
