Telephone Number Exceed 20 Characters Cause Manage User Account Showing Failed Status After HR2HR Process (Doc ID 1525557.1)

Symptoms

If you are a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) customer, there are multiple sections in this document that need not be performed by you. Please log a Service Request in My Oracle Support for Oracle to do this for you.

 

After running HR2HR process and then navigate to  Navigator > Person Management > Search for an employee > Click on Manage User Account, you see the Account Status as "Failed".
And below warning message is displayed:

Request Data is invalid. Length of the attribute value telephoneNumber is greater than maximum allowed length 20.

 Or you could see error like below:

Request Data is invalid. Length of the attribute value facsimileTelephoneNumber is greater than maximum allowed length 20.
