Information in this document applies to any platform.
While performing manage employment transactions such as Promotions, Transfer etc. which require change in employment information as well as salary information, the current functionality requires the user to navigate to manage employment first and then to manage salary.
It also requires the user to keep track of the effective date which will be use for the Promotion and then need to enter for salary change. The system should allow these types of transactions in a flow so that users are not lost and they key in information at one go.
It should be similar to self service wherein a manager performing promotion for his/her direct reports, can perform Employment Details, Salary details in one go.
