Users and Roles Synchronization Process Is Not Running and Stays at Ready Status (Doc ID 1541273.1)

Symptoms

Users and Roles Synchronization Process is not running and still in Ready status

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to navigator menu -> Setup and maintenence
  2. Search for "Run User and Roles Synchronisation Process"
  3. Click "Go to Task"
  4. "Retrieve Latest LDAP Changes" process UI will be displayed
  5. Click "Submit"

Process finishes and the status remains in "Ready" and the following error is displayed:
