Purpose
This note will cover questions that customers have on patches for Fusion Applications ( P4FA )
What is P4FA ?
Fusion Applications is built on top of Oracle’s FMw stack. As a convenience for Fusion Applications customers patches to FMW stack are tested together with Fusion Applications and released as an integrated patch bundle called P4FA. The P4FA patch bundle will contain patches to products like SOA, WLS, OIM, OAM , ADF , BI , DB , WebCenter, etc, they will not contain any Fusion Application Patches.
Patches (P) for (4) Fusion Apps (FA)P4FA is an abbreviation for Patches (P) for (4) Fusion Apps (FA).
