Last updated on SEPTEMBER 10, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Compensation - Version 11.1.5.0.0 and later
Oracle Fusion Workforce Compensation Cloud Service - Version 11.1.5.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

When attempting to create a salary , the element attached is not created in manage element entries.  This worked in a prior release.

Navigate: Workforce Management
> Person Management
> Query and select Employee
> Compensation
> Manage Salary
> Create Salary Basis

Expect to see a salary element that you have attached.

In order to see the salary element, the following requirements must be met:

1) In the same Legislative Data Group as the salary basis
2) Recurring
3) Classification is either Earning or Information
4) Have Element Eligibility (Element Links)
5) Attached to employment level of either Assignment level or Term level

If not, you will need to make the corrections using the payroll Element UI.

In this case an informational salary element was created with two required input values i.e. Amount and Frequency , thus the when you are trying to
create a salary the element attached is not created in manage element entries.
