Review Talent FAQs state:
- The Prepare Review Content step (rating the population) can only be done by the managers of the population. Both when selecting reviewers on a meeting (as HR specialist) or Granting access to delegate the review (as a manager) this restriction is seeded in Fusion. This is a serious issue for us: due to the high turnover, at any given time, there are many fresh transfers in any team, and the talent review needs to be performed by the former manager. Sometimes Talent feedback is given by someone who was never officially managing the person, but collaborated on a temporary assignement eg;
Our only option is currently to invite the former manager as 'participant' to the meeting, meaning he cannot do any preparation work and give ratings in advance. This is insufficient and will block the acceptance of the new software by our staff. During the pre-sales demo, we were told that it was possible to invite anyone to a Talent meeting: it is true, but what is the point if 'anyone' cannot provide preliminary ratings. Can you please find out if this is anywhere on the roadmap for future improvements of the Talent Module ?
Our need would be:
- Allow the meeting facilitator to by pass the org chart, and assign the Talent review of a population to any user;
- Allow this user to prepare meeting content and give ratings ahead of the meeting.
