Last updated on AUGUST 23, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Subledger Accounting - Version 11.1.5.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

If user defines a new Account Rule with Source = PO Charge Account, the account rule is not visible in the LOV for the Company Segment when trying to create a new Transaction Account Definition (TAD). But if the account rule is defined as Constant = 01, then the account rule is visible in the LOV for Company Segment in TAD.

Steps To Reproduce

1. Go to Manage Account Rules. Navigation: Setup and Maintenance > Procurement Implementation Project > Define Transaction Account Rules > Manage Account Rules. Create a new account rule for the Company Segment, by using Value Type = Source and Value = “PO Charge Account” in the Rules section. Click Save and Close.
2. Go to Manage Transaction Account Definitions. Navigation: Setup and Maintenance > Procurement Implementation Project > Define Transaction Account Rules > Manage Transaction Account Definitions. Click on Add to create a new Transaction Account Definition (TAD). For the Accrual Account, Segment Rules/Company, the LOV does not display the account rule created before. Even if user searches for this rule, it cannot be found.
3. If the account rule is created by using Value Type = Constant and Value = 01 in the Rules section, this account rule is displayed in the LOV for Company Segment in TAD.

Expected Behavior

The account rule created using Source = PO Charge Account should be visible in the LOV for the Company Segment in TAD.

Business Impact

TAD cannot be created.
