Schedule Process Not Sending Email Notification and Email Server Name Empty (Doc ID 1586433.1)

Symptoms

Users have a requirement to send the output of an ESS program in email. When submitting the ESS program through the  Schedule new Process window,
the server name has an empty list of values and the email is not sent.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Run the custom report through the Schedule new Process window,
2. Select the custom ESS program.
3. Select advanced to see the output tab.

4. Add destination as Email.
note: The server name has empty list of values.

 

Administrators confirm BI Publisher Email has  been configured properly on the environment by  following the instructions in Oracle Fusion Application Business Intelligence - Setting Up Delivers (iBots) in BI (Doc ID 1511530.1) Local host/port 25 is  a valid host and email is working.
