Information in this document applies to any platform.

Although users can enter an FLSA status when creating a Job via Functional Setup Manager, US HR Administrators cannot see the FLSA status when selecting a job in Manage Employment. Without being able to see the FLSA status, it is impossible to know which job to select. They also need to be able to see the FLSA status when viewing a workers job details.

This is standard functionality in PeopleSoft. FLSA Status is a column in the Job search results when selecting a job and can be viewed thereafter under the US country flag.

The enhancement impacts hiring, transferring, global temporary assignments, temporary assignments and any other flow that necessitates the user selecting a job. HR specialists could perform this task hundreds of times a day.

Customer has 60,000 employees and hires a few thousands each year. Many of these are hired in the US. This enhancement is also relevant to transfers, temporary and global temporary assignments and any flow that might involve a change to someone’s job.
