Fusion : Required Field "overall Rating" Allows It to Be Left Blank (Doc ID 1590193.1)

On : version, Manage Worker Performance-Evaluate Worker Performance


Performance Management- Overall rating field is made required but allows user to submit the performance document without entering any value for it.


System should not process the template not having any fields entered in the overall rating field. It must present a error to user clearly identifying the issue that overall rating field being required is left blank

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log in as Manager Performance Mgmt- Overall rating field being made required doesn’t mandate user for performance rating.. Navigate to Navigator > Manager Resources > Career > Performance.
2. Select the performance document. Start the performance evaluation
3. Navigate to Overall Summary tab of the performance document
4. Submit the performance document without entering the overall rating field.

The issue has the following business impact:
If overall rating field is allowed to left blank, it increases burden on business users to check this field and coordinate with concerned parties to get the field enterred. This causes a loss of time and efforts.
