Symptoms
User submitted processes (eg. Deploy Compensation Plan and Collection) have BLOCKED status.
The Classification process is currently in RUNNING status for 4 hours.
STEPS
Navigator > Incentive Compensation > Credits and Earnings
1. Submit Classify Transactions
2. Submit Deploy Compensation Plan
3. Submit Collection Transactions
4. View Processes shows the jobs Deploy Compensation Plan and Collection in Blocked status while Classification is till in Running status.
Changes
Starting with Release 7 Patch Bundle # 6, Oracle Fusion Incentive Compensation has seeded ESS job incompatibilities definition for IC processes.
Incompatibility Type:
Domain – When the ESS jobs are marked as incompatible with compatibility type DOMAIN, then those jobs can be run in parallel if certain job parameter like business unit is not the same.
Global – When the ESS Jobs are marked as incompatible with compatibility type GLOBAL, then those jobs cannot be run in parallel irrespective of whatever be the condition.
