Symptoms

On :  11.1.5.0.0  version, Manage Incentive Comp

When attempting to re-assign a dispute to a partcipant
the following error occurs.

A)
First step Analyst was not able to escalate the dispute

When an Analyst selects the dispute row and clicks some of the actions in the action menu from Participant Snapshot/ Sales Compensation Work Area, an error message pops up.
The same can be observed when an Analyst opens the dispute dialog by clicking the link and slects one of the Action menu items in the dialog.
For the latter, he is not able to select any of the Action menu items.

B)

1. We updated the Manager field for an Analyst but there is no value coming in the Reporting Manager
2. After doing the above change, the Analyst is now able to Escalate the dispute only from Work list – My Tasks, we verified that the dispute is escalated to the Analyst’s supervisor based on Manager field.
3. But trying to Reassign the dispute in Work list – My Tasks, the Analyst can only delegate to other user, he is not able to Reassign as the following error pops up while searching for a user:
4. The Analyst is not able to select any of the Action menu Items in Dispute dialog. Please note, the Action menu items are appearing but selecting any of those is resulting into the following error:

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot Reassign the dispute in Work list or select any of the Action menu Items in Dispute dialog.
