Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

When attempting to re-hire person in new Legal Entity the following errors occur:

ERRORS

Warning "By selecting this person, you will create a new work relationship instead of a new person record. Do you want to continue? (PER-1530281)
Error "Attribute Name is required."
Error "Attribute AssignmentId is required"

  A record for this legislation already exists for this person (PER-1530190)
  Attribute ContextCode is required.
  Attribute BusinessId in EmployeeTermsDEO is required
  JBO-25077: Name Legislation not found in the given object: Entity [oracle.jbo.Key[3000000000182210 2014-02-19 4712-12-31]].

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Re-hire person in new Legal Entity


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Navigator > New Person > Hire an Employee
2. Enter Person details > Enter new Legal Entity > Next
3. Select existing person
4. Warning "By selecting this person, you will create a new work relationship instead of a new person record. Do you want to continue? (PER-1530281) > OK
5. Next
6. Enter Address details > Next
7. Error "Attribute Name is required." > OK
8. Error "Attribute AssignmentId is required" > OK
9. Error "Attribute AssignmentId is required"
Error

  A record for this legislation already exists for this person (PER-1530190)
  Attribute ContextCode is required.
