Why Has The Seeded Platform_configuration.xml Changed In

(Doc ID 1634298.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 03, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion CRM for Microsoft Outlook - Version to [Release 1.0]
Oracle Fusion CRM for Microsoft Outlook Cloud Service - Version to [Release 1.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Starting with CRM For Microsoft Outlook version the 'platform_configuration.xml' file is containing only the following parameters section:

application.settings.set("Extensibility:first_run", 1);

For versions previous to client the 'platform_configuration.xml' file was containing the following parameters

application.settings.set("FRA:SkippContactConverting", 0);
application.settings.set("EnableExtract", 1);
application.settings.set("EnableUnzipData", 1);
application.settings.set("EnableOldSSSQuery", 0);
// TODO: update LFS execution parameters below
// Warning: this is workaround code due to platform limitation. To be replaced
var shell = new ActiveXObject("WScript.Shell");
var regPath = "HKCU\\SOFTWARE\\Oracle\\Oracle Fusion CRM for Microsoft Outlook\\Diagnostics\\";

function regWrite(key, value, type)
var fullPath = regPath + key;
shell.RegWrite(fullPath, value, type);
catch (ex) { }

regWrite("destination_drive", "\\\\\\reports", "REG_SZ");
regWrite("start_time", "0 9-19 * * 1-5", "REG_SZ");
regWrite("exec_mode", 0, "REG_DWORD");

Why has the seeded platform_configuration.xml changed in and some of the configurable parameters are missing from the file?
