Fusion HCM: Employee Can Not Update The Marital Status After It Reviewed And Submitted For Approval (Doc ID 1636444.1)

In My portrait: Change Marital Status ,after the submission the transaction is sent for approval, the manager requests more information. The employee receives a notification, but she / he can not update it anymore. The Employee has to withdraw this transaction because he is unable to make any changes in his transactions and has to start over again.

The customer is expecting the 'Request Information...' to include changing the pending transaction (instead of an offline information exchange). If the manager wants a change to the transaction itself, should they reject the transaction to unlock it? Is 'Request Information' meant to initiate an exchange outside workflow?
