UBS: R8: VNF POD: Partial Period Formula Not Working As Expected For Termination In Incremental Plan (Doc ID 1638054.1)

On : version, Manage Workforce Lifecycle

Partial Period Pro-ration formula not giving expected result during termination in Incremental Plans.

The calculated balance should reflect the based-on date.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1.) Hired an employee as of 15-Nov-2013.
2.) Employee enrolled into Incremental Plan as of 15-Nov-2013.
3.) Run accrual process till 31-Jan-2014.
4.) Balance as of 31-Jan-2014 is 3.
5.) Terminate enrollment into plan as of 15-Feb-2014.
6.) Run accrual as of 14-Feb-2014.
7.) Balance became 0, whereas is it should remain as 3 as per formula.
8.) Also, balance is showing the different values in two different places.

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot accurately assess the accrued balance. This could delay CRP, scheduled to start on March 20th.
