Enhancement Request to have the Time Period is default to Last Six Months Instead of All After Creating Absence Records

After creating an absence record while searching for newly created absence record, the field 'Time period' list of values defaults to - Last six months. This creates confusion as the newly created absence record will not be searchable with this value of Time Period. This fiels needs to be changed to value 'ALL' so that newly created absence can be found.
Keeping in mind that in majority of the cases absence records are entered for future dated, the 'Time Period' value should be defaulted to all rather than Last Six Months.
