Email Notification Does Not Have Any Details (Doc ID 1638990.1)

Symptoms

When a requisition is submitted for approval, the email notification sent to the approver does not have a PDF attachment to view the requisition details. The email gives the actions - "APPROVE" and "REJECT" . There is a link to the workspace application to access the tasks where the user can login and view the details of requisition.

Similarly , when a purchase order autocreated from requisition is submitted for approval, the email notification sent to the approver does not have any PDF attachment to view the PO details.
The email gives the actions - "APPROVE" and "REJECT" . There is a link to the workspace application to access the tasks where the user can login and view the details of requisition.

Only in cases where the purchase order is manually created, the email notification contains the PDF attachment showing the PO details.

Approvers at the top level of hierarchy like the CFO of a company will not login to the application to view the details of PO or PR ; they prefer to view the details from the email notification directly.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Submit a requisition for approval or autocreate a purchase order from a requisition and submit it for approval.

 

ProcurementServer_1-diagnostic.log :

Caused by: oracle.security.idm.ObjectNotFoundException: No User found matching the criteria. This is reported by the Verification service for user while trying to look up the user. This indicates why customer is getting a "FileNotFound" error on SOA Servers while processing the TaskNotifications.
