Goal

How to assign Territories to Partner sales Account.


A) manual way :

How to assign territories to partner , if i test in parallel with
customer sales account , there is a Territory assignment function

If i do Navigate > Manage Customer > Edit one Sales account > Sales
Account Team
> i have an Action top menu wit Assign Territories as an available action.

If i do Navigate > Partner > edit a Partner > Partner Account Team : i
don't see such action

If i search Partner organizations i customer center i can't see them


B)
Automatics way :
Navigator > Scheduled Process > Run; Request Sales Account Assignment by
giving parameters of an Import batch ID
> Program Complete successfully by telling that all imported Sales
account had been assigned

Do you have an example of parameters for partners as the usual ones for
sales Account don't assign partners

Industry
Organization Size
Account Type ( Named Accounts) where in the need to assign specific Partner to Chanal manager like Named Accounts
Account ( Partner Name )
3 axillary dimensions.


We would like to understand Type of functionality would be available in Release 8 for PRM territory Management as we understand there are 3 Types of Partner centric territories . Partner Territories Channel Sales Manager, Channel Program and Partner.
