Absence Entries Starting And Ending On Non-working Days

For absence types that are based on Working Days, there is a standard validation in Fusion that prevents users from starting or entering the absence entry on non-working days (even though duration > 0). There does not seem to be any value addition in having the validation in place, since the duration calculation automatically factors in the non-working days etc. into calculation.
Conversion issue: If the historical absence records contain entries where start and end date fall on non-working days then these cannot be migrated to Fusion correctly.
Business process issue: In cases such as Block Leave, as per policy employees are expected to enter the actual dates while recording absence. This validation is preventing from performing the same.
