Performance Measure Is Invalid CN-1575389 Due to Mismatched Group by Versus Individual Referenced Measures (Doc ID 1645155.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to save / compile a Performance Measure , the status remains Invalid. The reason shown is:

ERROR
The application could not generate the PL/SQL package for the formula. Contact your system administrator. (CN-1575389)


STEPS
Navigator > Compensation Plans > Manage Performance Measure
Create a performance measure which has as input from some other performance measure achieved.output, SAVE.

Changes

1. Setup for current performance measure (eg. PM4) is invalid. It references the output results of other performance measures (eg. PM1, PM2)

    a. Navigator > Compensation Plans > Manage Performance Measure (eg. PM4) > Scorecard
        Input expression has : GREATEST ( (  Measure result.PM1.PTD Output Achieved
                                                           + Measure result.PM2.PTD Output Achieved
                                                           + Measure result.PM3.PTD Output Achieved ) , 15 )

    b. Navigator > Compensation Plans > Manage Performance Measure (eg. PM4) > Measure Formula
        Process Transaction = Individually
        Measure formula (Output) expression has :  Credit.Quantity * Rate Table Rate


2. Setup for the other performance measure (eg. PM1) is valid

    a. Navigator > Compensation Plans > Manage Performance Measure (eg. PM1) > Scorecard
        Input expression has :  Credit.Credit Amount / Measure.Period Target
        Scorecard (Rate Table) = IC Amount Rate

    b. Navigator > Compensation Plans > Manage Performance Measure (eg. PM1) > Measure Formula
        Process Transaction = Individually
        Measure formula (Output) expression has :  Credit.Credit Amount * Rate Table Rate

 

2. Setup for the other performance measure (eg. PM2) is valid

    a. Navigator > Compensation Plans > Manage Performance Measure (eg. PM2) > Scorecard
        Not setup (ie. no rate table and no input)

    b. Navigator > Compensation Plans > Manage Performance Measure (eg. PM2) > Measure Formula
        Process Transaction = Grouped by interval
        Measure formula (Output) expression has : SUM(Credit.Credit Amount)
