Symptoms

On : 11.1.7.0.0 version, Set Up FCR-Define Financial Reporting Structures

You are assigning a tree code to a segment in Chart of Account , However you get a warning / error message when compiling the flexfield.The error message is 'Segment cannot be consolidated for analytics'. 

All trees are : saved, audited, (column) flattened and published. the following error occurs.

ERROR

1. WARNING: The segments labeled as GL_ACCOUNT from the structures: [XXGL_COA_SVE] cannot be consolidated for analytics.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Deploy the Flexfield
