Symptoms

On : 11.1.8.0.0 version, Manage Workforce Lifecycle

Absence duration is not always getting calculated for Calendar Day based absences when recording absences. After entering the dates, the duration comes as 0. Have to then change the absence type and re-choose the absence type and re-enter the dates for the duration to get calculated.

ERROR

ANC-3405003 - The Absence duration must be greater than zero.


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log in as HR specialist
2. Search for, and select, and employee.
3. Enter an absence record from 1st of a future month through the 20th.
4. Confirm the days are not calculated, and ANC-3405003

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot easily enter absence records, which could impact System Integration Testing later this month.
