Goal

For a non-HCM customer, requirement is to be able to create employees. In this case, this is required in order to use Employee-Supervisor hierarchy for GL Journal Approval, so the Employment Model and Worker Number Generation also needs to be setup for the Enterprise, so that the same can be setup for the Legal Entity.

Need to perform the following:

  1. Define the Employment Model as required, for the Enterprise (If this is not correctly set, user might receive the "No employment model exists for this legal employer. Select a different legal employer. (PER-1531255)" error).
  2. Set Automatic Worker-Number-Generation method for the Enterprise (If this is not correctly set, user might receive the "You cannot set the worker-number-generation method for the legal employer because use of worker numbers is not enabled for the enterprise (PER-1531250)" error).
  3. Define a Business Unit (Required to create an employee).
  4. Define auto-approval for New Person Employment approval rules (If this is not setup correctly, user might receive the "RUL-05717" error).
