Posting Journal From A Ledger Set Data Access Set: No Write Access To Reporting Currency Or Segment Value (Doc ID 1665317.1)

Symptoms

On : 11.1.7.0.0 version, Capture Transactions-Post Journal Entries and Update Ledger Balances

A journal was submitted for Posting and the program ended in error. Although no errors are reported in the Posting log file, when reviewing the journal via the Edit Journal UI,
the following error message is seen in the Batch Status field.

Error - No write access to reporting currency or segment value


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Go into the application with a user that has a Ledger Set Data Access Set (DAS) assigned.
2. Go to the Journals UI and create a journal and submit it for posting. Posting ends in error.
3. Go to Journals > Edit Journal and see the Error in the Batch Status field.

Changes

There is a primary ledger and a journal level reporting currency ledger defined.
