Information in this document applies to any platform.

When users transfer an item from Item Class (IC) within same Hierarchy the, user-defined attributes (UDAs) that are part of item number generation rule become NULL.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a Item Class Hierarchy with several siblings. Associate user-defined attributes and pages.
2. Define a item number generation rule based on some of the user-defined attributes (UDAs)
3. Create an item under one of the siblings and once item is approved transfer item to another item class (siblings)
3. When the item is transferred to new Item class the item loses values for UDAs that are part of the item number generation rule.
