Not Able To Update Opportunity Through Web Service-Error JBO-25013: Too many objects match the primary key oracle.jbo.Key[30000000.......]

Symptoms

 

 

 


On Production, updateOpportunity() is not working.
It works for some opportunities and does not work for some opportunities.
There are two users. One with Sales Manager role and the other with CRM Administrator role.
For the opportunities created by the user with CRM Admin Role, gets successfully updated through web service call;
however, opportunities created by the user with Sales manager Role, throws the following error message on update via web service call


Further to add ....
user sees the same error JBO 25013.

To put it simple, this happens in all operations with the record's id. In this case its Opty Id. So these include:
1.getOpportunity();
2.updateOpportunity();
3.mergeOpportunity();
4.deleteOpportunity();

Only findOpportunity() Works since this is fetched with criteria which does not include OptyId.
