Customer Search Returns Inconsistent Results When Using 'Contains' Criteria (Doc ID 1910567.1)

Goal

When running a customer search in the Local search page using the Contains criteria, the results are inconsistent.


When searching for MNO, it returns records like MNO Technologies.
However, when searching for 'Tech', it does not. It returns all MNO Technologies accounts only when run minimum with 'Technologi'.

Is this the expected behavior?
