Not Able to See the Incentive Compensation Menu Due to Invalid Roles Generated. (Doc ID 1927786.1)

Symptoms

User has Incentive Compensation roles assigned.  However, when log into application, user do not see any Incentive Compensation menu from the navigator.

When checked on the role generation, it shows the roles are invalid.

Changes

User modified the role template in APM so the external roles (eg. Incentive Compensation Manager Bad BU) did not inherit the appropriate base roles.

 

In APM, search for External Roles = Incentive Compensation.

Open a role (eg. "Incentive Compensation Manager Bad BU"), the external role hierarchy tab should show that this role is inheriting "Incentive Compensation Manager" role.
