Fusion Global HR: Error notification received upon submitting Person Management transactions (Doc ID 1934111.1)

Symptoms

On : 11.1.8.0.0 version, Manage Workforce Records

When the user tries to edit the national identifier details of the worker and submits the transaction, they receive a FYI error notification with the following fault details:

The result of from-spec is null. Either the from node value or the xpath query in the from node value was invalid. According to BPEL4WS spec 1.1 section 14.3, the from node value should not be empty. Verify the from node value at line number 642 in the BPEL source. }

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login as HR Specialist
2. Navigator > Person Management > Person Search
3. Search for the person and Navigate to Manage Person UI
4. Edit the National Identifier details and submit the transaction
5. Error is encountered in the transaction, and the user receives a FYI error message
